Love Bubbles

Love Bubbles is an idea I've been wanting to share for a while. It's a way to send love to your baby in heaven. It can be a great project for a sunny day, when you want to do something extra special for your baby. I named it "Love Bubbles" because I like to picture each bubbles filled up with love. With Bereaved Mother's Day and Mother's Day just around the corner, I thought now would be a great time to share.

The basic idea is that you blow bubbles. Easy, right? Right. Love bubbles means that as you blow each bubble, you think of the loving words you'd like to say to your baby and blow them into the bubble. As they wander around and then *pop*, the words travel up to heaven to your baby. I love, love, love this idea!

You can use store-bought bubbles, or make your own. You can also make your own bubble wand using pipe cleaners. A wand made into a heart is especially cute for this project. It's super simple and you might have already have everything you need to make them at home.

Love Bubbles

What you'll need:
1 cup warm water
1/4 cup liquid dish soap
1 tbsp corn syrup
Container of your choice with lid
Mixing bowl
Bubble Wand (or DIY - pip cleaners)

Optional:
Colorful paper
Double-sided tape
Marker
Scissors

To make the bubbles:
1. In the mixing bowl, add water, liquid dish soap, and corn syrup. Mix together well and pour into the container of your choice.

Guess what? That's all there is to making bubbles at home. Easy!

Now, make some wands.

1.Take a pipe cleaner and bend it about 1/3rd of the way from the top.

2. Curve it around to make this shape:

3. Hold at the bend and bend again, like this (basically, an "M"):

4. Hook the end around itself and voila, you now have a heart-shaped bubble wand!

Obviously, a circle works great, too.

Next, you can make a cute label for your bubble jar.

1. Cut out any shape you'd like from your cute paper.
2. Using the marker, write "Love Bubble" on the paper and anything else you'd like.
3. Using the double-sided tape, afix it to the bottle.

Here's my finished bottle of bubbles, and some cute wands.

Take your bubbles and wands outside, think of something special to say to your baby and blow. As the bubbles *pop* your words travel up to heaven and into the ear of your sweet babe. (At least, that's how I like to imagine it).

Big breath: Mama loves you forever, Samuel! : *pop*

I hope you enjoy this special project for your baby. Let me know if you try it and who you're sending love to <3.
